Reforesting Hillsides in Philippines

Run by two people - Walter and Grace - who are both incredibly passionate about biodynamics. They have a biodynamic farm and community education centre where they fund the education of children and school trips to their farm. Grace and Walter have found that they must also pay for the transport for the classes to and from the school, as the schools don't have the budget to cover this cost themselves. The two projects that Grace and Walter have proposed to DIRT are to regenerate the hills surrounding the farm, and to create an education centre in the nearby village. The hills have experienced desertification due to poor environmental management, and using biodynamic methods, they can regenerate the area using native species on these hillsides. The educational centre in the village will provide a place with basic cover from the rain, sun and mosquitoes, where teaching can take place and accommodation is offered.
