WHY SOIL?

DIRT IS A CHARITY WORKING GLOBALLY TO TURN FASHION INTO A CLIMATE SOLUTION.

Fashion is grown in soil, and the way we currently grow our raw materials causes tremendous harm to soil, and is a catalyst for climate change. We could grow fashion crops in a way that heals soil and restores nature to full health and thriving biodiversity. Regenerating soil is a long term solution and the fastest answer we have to climate change. 

We work with Biodynamic agriculture which is a powerful nature-based solution for farming and the processing of farm grown materials.  Our goal is to bring fashion’s sourcing power behind soil regeneration globally. Our mission is to grow and process all fashion’s raw materials biodynamically.

  • Donating to DIRT creates meaningful storytelling for your community.

    Whether you are an individual, corporate institution or small conscious brand, no matter what industry you belong to, DIRT accepts donations of any size, either as a one off donation, or recurring monthly donation.

    Depending on the size of the donation, DIRT is able to design a journey that you will enjoy being a part of, and that your audience will love hearing about.

    We recommend supporting one of our funds, or choose a farmer from the farm projects to support - please find more information on our Projects and Funds page.

    Our intention is not to divert funding from other regenerative agricultural charities. If you donate to anyone in this space, please continue to support those initiatives.

  • DIRT charity is an environmental partner of 1% For The Planet and will gratefully accept your donation via this platform.

    All you have to do is sign up as a partner wanting to donate 1% For The Planet, and choose DIRT charity as a beneficiary of your donation.

    Depending on the size of the donation, DIRT is able to design a journey for you.

  • We invite conscious brands that are supporting the Earth with their business decisions to contribute a portion of sales to DIRT.

  • We have created DIRT Charity’s #TipTheEarth campaign for restaurants, and any establishment that has an option to add a tip to their bill.

    You can add an optional 1% tip on each bill, so that your customer can #TipTheEarth, with the funds going to regenerate Earth’s soils through DIRT.

    We help and support you to tell the story in the best way that works for you and your mission.
