Create a video course on family friendly biodynamic composting. Composting is a powerful tool against climate change, and it is far under-appreciated for its ability to reduce the amount of greenhouse gases produced in landfill. When food or garden waste goes into the anaerobic space of a dump, it turns directly into methane, whereas when these organic materials are instead placed on a compost pile, they turn directly into richly nutritious soil that can be used to grow healthy vegetables and support its microorganisms underneath the surface. This donation is to support an amazing individual in New Zealand Katrina Wolff, who has tremendous experience working on similar projects to educate her community about biodynamic farming and composting.
