Kufunda

Kufunda is a learning and training centre and an eco-village in Zimbabwe. It is an intersection of indigenous, black and white farmers who choose to reflect in their organisation their deep care and respect for their land. In Kufunda the locals have been learning their way into what it takes to create a healthy and vibrant community - sharing this with the local community and communities around Zimbabwe and the region. Through this journey they have learnt many practices of coming together to foster creativity and collaboration in the community. They have discovered many wonderful things about sustainability, including eco-building, permaculture, biodynamic farming, renewable energy, holistic health and much more. For the past five years they have been running a Waldorf Inspired School, alongside other programmes and work. As a collective of pioneers in Biodynamics in Africa, Kufunda are committed to growing the movement in the whole region.
